Is there software to fix my slider

my ipod touch survived water damage, I thought. after restoreing, and updating sucessfully , my slider bar doesnt work . I heard that thetre is software to fix it . is this true?

No. Does the touch screen work at all? If not, you will probably need to replace the front panel (though the problem could be with your logic board).
