Where can I buy digitizer touch panel for Acer Iconia One 8

The digitizer glas on my Acer Iconia One 8 B1-830 is cracked. I already took the tab apart successfully. Desperately seeking the internet for a replacement part, but without any findings.

Problem is: model B1-830 is different from B1-810 and B1-820 and also different from other 8 inch acer models.

I need a digitizer glass for Iconia One 8 B1-830

Any help welcome

This is the picture of my touch digitizer. In the meantime I found out, that the display and touch screen of Iconia One 8 B1-830 is identical to B1-820. I already ordered a spare part of model B1-820, still waiting for it.

Hi, I was wondering if you fitted the 820 screen to the 830 & did it work properly. I have to fix my nephews tablet so was wondering if yours worked. Thanks

Unfortunately, the display+touchscreen of B1-820 did not work in my B1-830. It is physically identical and the connector looks exactly like my defective one. When I assembled it, the led-backlight turned on, but the display stayed black. No picture at all, it didn't work! Don't know why. It looks like B1-820 display is not compatible with B1-830.

Thanks for that. There will be no need for me to try it out. It is actually cheaper to buy a new one than it is to get a replacement screen. I find that crazy, but there you have it.

I did manage to find where you can buy the part for your specific model tablet, but holy cow its expensive! Here's the link to the part you require..

Unfortunately, although the title suggests, it is a B1-830, this part is not the correct one. The connector of my digitizer is in the middle of the bottom line, not at the edge. The connector itself looks the same as mine.

The price is ridiculous, because a new Iconia One 8 costs less than 127 Pound!
