Can't connect French mobile phone network

Desperately looking for a way to solve this:

My mobile phone Huawei Y541-U02 recognizes the French sim card but doesn't connect the mobile phone network (all other functions work)

Tried everything: checked the sim card (I have the phone number), activated it, soft + hard-reset of the mobile, checked with the provider, checked with technicians...

Yes I did

It worked, clearly.

I wonder if it's problem of compatibility like Mhz or something like that.

I mean I need to know if it can be solved or not. Then I can make a decision.

Hi Christine,

Here are the frequencies on which your phone can operate. If the phone service provider that you wish to use doesn't use any of those frequencies it will not work. Also I don't know how widespread 2G is in France but where I am it is being phased out and being replaced by 3G so it may be of no use to have 2G working but not 3G if the same is happening there.

2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz

3G: UMTS 900 / 2100 MHz

Did you set the phone setting to use that Sim. My phone would not use the sim card I put in it until i changed the setting to use that specific Sim location. This is a dual phone and you have to set it to use that specific Sim by default and if it isn't set the phone will not use it even if it functions.
