LCD still pitch black after being replaced

Hello

I replaced my blu life pure xl by myself since the company cant take it for repair. I took the broken LCD out and put the new one intact, then I tun my phone on. My phone is on and the green light is flicker with sound for notification. however, the LCD still pitch black. I wonder if I did anything wrong. please help me
