Why does my phone say no service even with a sim card?

I got back a new Moto X Pure Edition after sending a damaged one for repair. I put in the sim card that I used before on the damaged phone but for some reason, the new one keeps saying "no service" so I can't make any calls or use data. Wifi still works fine. The IMEI number on the damaged one that I sent is different from the one I got back. The sim card that I'm using is originally from my Moto X 2013 and it still works fine with it but it doesn't work with my Pure Edition. I put in a different sim card in the Pure Edition and it still says "no service" I already did a lot of restarts and factory resets on the Pure Edition but it still doesn't work. The one that I sent for repair worked fine with my sim card. Thanks!
