iPhone Battery Connector on the Logic Board
Good Morning,
This question is associated with the post at Battery replacement gone bad on iPhone 4s
So after reviewing the following videos,
1. From pugeotsoundelectronics.com
2. From icrack
3. From Kyle and Jessa at iFixit
I decided to open the phone one more time and look at the connector. No doubt, that the connector is the problem. It turns out that the battery connector was broken and the friend tried to glue it. The connector is partially broken and is still stuck to the logic board. See the attached pictures below.
So now the question is, how can
1. I remove the remaining segment of the plastic stuck to the logic board.
2. Check that there is no damage in the circuit (i.e. connectivity test to confirm that the circuit is still good and that glue has not created any shorts).
3. And then attempt to re-solder a new connector, without disassembling the entire phone and get the logic board out.
Any thoughts will be very helpful?
