Replaced the glass on an S3 and changed the frame. when the back plate is on (the one that screws in) the battery cover won't clip in and there's a gap because of this
does anybody know why?
it's doing it on the old frame as well, and tried a different battery cover

If the frame is not the exact one, for example the i535 frame will only work with the i535 motherboard. The motherboards are slightly different but can still fir i would check this first(see below)

for example this one is the T999. You find this by taking the model number and remove the first 3 letter and the dash.

the motherboard fits fine
Double check it may fit fine but there are differences, I fought with this issue before and I am sure thats the issue. what was the frame number on the old one and the new one?
Turns out the frame is defective. just going to replace the frame, i have a frame seperator so it's not an issue
