Is the videocard built into the logic board?
Apple Hardware Test returns an error for the video card.

Yes, the video card is integrated into the logic board. So if the video card fails, then you have to replace the whole logic board.

Depending on what your model number and cpu speed is, you'll need a different board. To find out what kind of Mac computer you have, you can use our ID-Your-Mac tool.
For the A1226, you'll need one of these logic boards. For the A1260, you'd need one of these.

This is a possible Nvidia GPU Apple recall. Please hook it up to an external monitor to test the Graphics card and let us know the results. Sorry for not seeing your question earlier, it got by me.
