Do you repair the SD microchip card reader?

I cannot get my Samsung Galaxy Tab4 to read a 32 GB microSDHC UHS-1 Card from ADATA or Samsung. When I insert card into slot, Go to Settings, Storage, I can only see "Mount SD card". When I touch it, the color changes to grey and nothing happens. Do you have a way to trouble shoot and repair if necessary, a microchip card reader?
