Phone not starting and getting heated up near the rear camera!

My phone got dead and hasn't been starting whatever I do since 3 days!

I guess it got wet in the rain but I'm not sure about that, and the main thing to notice is it gets hot near the camera as soon as I put the battery in it.

I've tried to change the battery, even tried to dry it up in case it was a water damage but there are no signs of water on the motherboard as I did open it up and yes I've stripped it many times before!

I did open up the cover and was able to feel the heating issue was main from the marked area, and the big black chip was heated up the most but I guess I could feel the heat on that because it has a larger surface area.

mrishav15, remove the camera and see if it still gets hot. It is possible that it is shortening out your phone. You do want to ensure that you properly clean the logic board with isopropyl alcohol, just in case it did get wet. Remove all components and clean those and their connectors as well. Remember that in electronics heat=short circuit.

I tried removing the camera, but the problem is with some IC near it which is covered with the casing. After removing the casing I can feel that particular place gets heated up the most.
