Maytag washer has error code of D1- can it be fixed?
is practially new with an error code D1, they only want $50 to take it out of their basement-they told me its a drain problem is what they were told, so they just didnt both with it & bought new- my question is - is it worth it to try to fix?

rock59165, possible that your error is a ld? That would correspond with you having been told that it is a "drain problem" lD is "Long Drain" error which could be that you have a defective drain pump or something in the pump preventing it from draining.
