I have Fujitsu LifeBook S sereis laptop, 2012 model running WIndows 7 Pro. I received notification from Microsoft to update to Win 10, but update stalls after going through download process. Tried almost on a daily basis for about 3 weeks.

Perhaps you might try using the Windows 10 Media Creation tool to create installation media: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-...
This method is known to be a bit more stable than the straight upgrade installation.
You can also find instructions for installing from this tool here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windo...
You can use a USB flashdrive, .ISO file, or a DVD to create a bootable installer.
You should also double check your specs to make sure that your computer meets the minimum specifications for a Windows 10 install just to be safe: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/w...
