Can I fit a 2TB HDD as a second drive?

Hi, I want to install a 2tb HDD and a 120gb ssd in my Mac mini. All the guides for using the optical drive/HDD adapter refer to a 1tb limit. Is there any reason I can't install a 2tb drive in either SATA slot?

The limit is related to the drives height (can't exceed 9.5mm). I've put in quite a few Samsung (Seagate) 2TB drives in, no issues! You could even put in two.
