earpiece broke off in ipad
put erpeice into ipad section broke off in ipad now onle can hear on one side of earpiece and cannot get piece out to hear

Randy, you can try your luck first with very fine tweezers, or a strong needle that you could heat to make it penetrate into the headphones CABLE not jack. Once you get hold of the cable, you can try to pry the tip of the cable out of the headphones jack with the needle while at the same time pulling out with the tweezers or pliers or your nails, if you can get a grip on it.

You have to replace the audio pcb, it has the audio jack attached. Possibly you can get the piece out if you open up your device.
