I am planning to buy a replacement screen for my Ipad and wanted to know if it is a original one from Apple.

Original from Apple you won't find. However check this link to the part here in ifixit and they give you lifetime warranty

Like Israel mentions you won't find new parts that are made by Apple. You can find refurbished Apple parts that are original. They have been taken out of faulty/broken devices and then sold. These can be quite hard to get hold of however.
