Replace Z1C screen with Z3C screen?

I would like to request about the feasibility of replacing the screen on a Z1 compact with a Z3 compact screen + digitizer.

Z1c dimensions are the same except for the thickness of the phone, but the inside + connecters of the screen design might be the same? Screen resolution is the same at 1280x720, so hardware wise I assume it would be compatible.

Thanks in advance, it would be a great upgrade possibility especially for cracked z1c screens!

There are some other specifications should be payed attention such as the position of the hole for front camera and sensor. Also different cables, different sizes of LCD and different style of earpiece.So i suppose they are not compatible.

hi there !! i have a sony xperia z1 compact, but i have a trouble on my touch screen have a zone on the top of the screen that it's no working , i immersed the phone on the water, what can i do ? have to change all the touch screen or can just made something easier !! Thanks .

The screens also have different number of pixels, so I would advise against it

Sony xperia z1 compact screen is not compatible with z3 compact. their screen flex cable is different. If you using the z3 compact screen to install on the z1 compact, maybe it will damage your phone. so i'm not recommend you to do this.
