Source for high quality REAL APPLE cables?

I've seen replacement MagSafe cables on Amazon.com, but the comments makes me believe they are all really low quality Chinese knock-offs. Where can I get cables that won't just fail or fall apart shortly after re-assembly?

Sadly, you can't ;-{

Apple does not sell the discrete parts for the Power adapter (MagSafe cable). They only sell it as a complete unit with the brick.

If you need the AC line cord Apple does sell that as a spare!

I'd be satisfied with one that compares with the original. Reviews of cables on Amazon warn of failures occurring within days.
