iPhone 5 reception issues and NO SIM?

Okay, here's the thing. I've been using my iPhone 5 for quite a while when it started losing network reception. Suddenly it started to drop reception and goes "Searching".

But doesn't show No service text.

If i turn of and on airplane mode for a few times it comes back and my carrier works just fine for an hour or a little less.

Also shows NO SIM even when i put the sim card inside, so I have to reboot my iPhone to make it work but when I do I get those problems with reception as I described above..
