Any way to upgrade the bluetooth board for handoff?

Hi all - Does anyone know if we can put a new bluetooth board into one of these that will support Yosemite's handoff features?

I believe the required spec is bluetooth 4.0 and these max out at 2.1.

Asked . Any of the Apple machines not included int he System requirements for full Yosemite compliance will have the same problem, which can not be solved simply by upping the Bluetooth board.
