Canon DR-6010C lid switch sensor not activating blinking green light

cleaned out (took off side shields and blew air) my canon dr-6010c scanner. When i turn it back on it just blinks a green light and no motors spin. I've ran the DR4K5K6KX10_8HTool.exe tool that comes w/ the driver download and it shows the door is still open. Where is the sensor for the main door? Or lid depending on your terminology.

encase others need the password for this tool is "market"

I found, there is an optical sensor in the lid on the right side as you face the machine, or the machines' left side. there is a clear plastic loop back that easily falls out when you remove the side shield. So if you have issues make sure that loop back is there and if it is blow some air in the corresponding holes in the side of the lid.
