new LCD glass installed but now it will not turn on.

So I disconnected to 5 connecters from motherboard to the new displa and connected the motherboard to my old cracked display screen. Works great.

If the new front is connected correctly and does not work, but the old front works, then you need to get another front screen assembly that works.
