At this point in time the answer is no. Apple's installer reads the system ID so it won't install the needed services.
While its not to difficult to get to the AirPort in this series: MacBook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo Models A1226 and A1260 Bluetooth Antenna Replacement, This is a custom part as it predates the combo boards now being used. Apple also has end of life'd this system so they won't be offering any updated parts for it.
Bottom line here: No OS or hardware support for it.
