Can the cd player in a clock radio be replaced?
The am/fm clock radio works well; however the cd player unit spins discs, but does not read them. Can the cd unit be repaired or replaced?

If its not reading, it could be a problem with the laser diode or reader assembly. To be frank it could be impossible to replace it with a new one.
