Cameron, no. It is paired with the processor of the specific 5S. The touch ID sensor is designed to be secure and it is uniquely paired with each specific phone. Read more about that on here. and on here as well. "unique logic board in each iPhone 5S and the fingerprint data is stored on the A7 chip". Hope this helps, good luck.

im using iphone 5 and i mod my home button using iphone 6 home button by dissasemble the fingerprint sensor.

Hello,
I did put an fingerprint scanner from an 5s on my iphone 5, just for the looks :)
But it needs a bit of crafting, cuz the connectors are not the same ;)

You can NOT do Touch ID but for the looks you can install it. Look for an iPhone 5S home button replacement then install that. Then the only difference between your iPhone 5 and a iPhone 5S is the flashlight shape. (iPhone 5 is shaped like a circle and iPhone 5S is a rectangle.) Other then that your device HARDWARE will look like an iPhone 5S. If you want your Software to look like an iPhone 5S, You are out of luck because the load times are faster on iPhone5S.

you could probably wire the scanner and hack the firmware

Or u can jailbreak and get ios 9 for I phone 5s and your firmware will be up to date with the rest of the phone but first u need to buy a iPhone 5s lcd scene with flex cable for it to work
