As the title says, also, it turns off when you unplug the charger. It's been on charge since 12 last night and the charging light stays on once you unplug it while the 3ds is off. The light comes on when the battery is unplugged but the charger is plugged in. I recently changed the speaker flex and when it turns if it also pops.

I had an issue with a family members 3DS. I allowed the battery to die completely, I then take the battery out and let it settle for about 5minutes before putting it back in, you should leave it to charge fully and it should help resolve the issue.

Get a battery from Nintendo's website or further problems could occur.
Charged up DS overnight, DS power is Off, unplugged DS from charger and charge light remains on, turn power on and off for DS, DS turns on showing full power and turns off normally, but charge light remains on whether it is on or off but DS has full charge... Any suggestions?
