removing a stripped screw on the optical drive

hey guys i was trying to replace my optical drive in my macbook with a second hard drive, that i purchased at OWC.

and when i was staying to remove the screws from the optical drive, as the instructions say. the screw became stripped. to the point that i cannot turn it at all.

i read that i can use rubber band and place it between the screw and the screw driver.

i also heard that can use a precision screw extractor.

but those are pretty pricy. not sure if i want to pay for that for that one time use.
