No service after battery change.

I recently replaced the original iPhone 5 battery with a new, golden, high capacity battery from dx.com. Upon switching the iPhone on, the phone would just say searching in the top left corner. There were no request for putting in the SIM code or anythin, it just did not want to find the SIM card. I tried ejecting the tray and putting it back in again, but nothing happens. During the repair I did not remove the digitizer and LCD. Please help?

First off these battery do not do what there ment to.. If apple could make a better battery I think they would and make a fortune but they don't which suggests there isn't a better battery.

Make sure your time and date is correct and if that is give it a hard restart ..
