Blu-Ray disc drive not Working.

The Blu Ray disc drive is working on my Laptop. Whenever I put a disc in it spins and makes noise like it is working but then nothing appears in my Computer.

In Device Manger the CD/DVD Icon doesn't even appear.

I tried a few peoples suggestions like deleting the Upper and Lower Filter items in the Registry, installing a CD emulator to make the CD/DVD icon reappear to scan for new hardware, and physically removing the drive from the laptop and plugging it back in.

At this point I am at a lost at what I can do any more suggestions?

You should try to remove the disk drive and check the connecter of the drive and its connecter on the motherboard. It may have been knocked slightly out of place and will just require to be taken out and then firmly put back in again to make a good connection.
