lost charger cant use it gets a red screen when full charge

I got my PSP 2000 as a gift guessing mid 2012 and i bit it so my caraceter in Little big people would stop dieing result disaster I did it again it was my remedy for it oh and it works for a little bit before it will show the red screen of death and turn off.
