Pamela, definitely a broken LCD. Thank you for posting an image. After the new information that you provided, it looks like the last 3 digits of your serial number are "WOH" which comes back as a 2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo (T7600)
Intro Date: October 24, 2006 Disc Date: June 5, 2007
Order No: MA610LL Model No: A1211 (EMC 2120)
Subfamily: Core 2 Duo/Late 2006 Model ID: MacBookPro2,2
Std RAM: 2 GB Std VRAM: 256 MB
Std Storage: 120 GB (5400 RPM) Std Optical: 6X DL "SuperDrive"
not as a PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15" as previously listed. In that case there are two display back cases. One for AUO panel (Apple part number 922-7934) and one for Samsung/Chi Mei panel (Apple part number 922-7933). So make sure that you order the right LCD to fit your case. The LCD is available for around $60 used and about $130 new. Check on here for more options. Is it worth it? Depends what you are looking for. $60 is cheaper than a new Mac (or any other computer) and as long as it serves your purpose, I would replace it. Hope this helps, good luck places

A1211 actually comes back as a Apple MacBook Pro "Core 2 Duo" 2.33 15", not as a PowerBook G4 Aluminum 15" which is the device that was listed with your question. This will of course change everything:-) especially the price:) Can you please verify that you have a MacBook Pro not a PowerBook G4
