After repairing the front screen on an iPhone 4 from AT&T and an iPhone 4S from Verizon, the front camera refuses to work. I believe this is an iOS 7 issue. Is anybody having this issue as well after repair? I run an iPhone repair business and need to get this figured out.

On the iPhone 4 it could be that you accidentally broke off the camera capacitor. In this image you'll see 2 silver dots above the yellow connector (http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/mXXSH...) Use a circuit writer pen and let it dry for a couple of hours and the camera will begin working again. The capacitor on the 4s is in a different location, but the same fix applies. Just google its location and you'll be good to go.

In case if I don't have circuit writer pen, can I instead use Soldering Iron?

i have done a lot of iPhones 4 and 4s on iOS 7, no camera problems here, so far. hope you'll find a answer

I am having the same problem with the rear camera after updating to iOS 7!
I would love some advice on this issue, as well.

I have the same problem with an iPhone 4 which was running IOS7. Camera app hangs when the front camera is toggled.
At the same time I repaired a 4S within IOS 6 This works ok. I will upgrade this to IOS 7 and see if the FF Camera dies
