Exhaust pipe has possible holes

I just took in my wife's 1995 Maxima for safety inspection and the mechanic says the exhaust has holes in it. How would I go about fixing this and at what cost?

Drew Pierce, this will depend on your local safety inspection standards and where the holes are. You can patch those by welding a patch over the holes, or replace the part with the holes. Again, this will depend on where they are.
