The Glass on my screen cracked, at the same time half of the screen doesn't respond to touch. does that mean I have to replace both the glass and Digitizer?

Yes we would have to replace the whole thing, as the touch screen module for the ASUS are laminated together with the cover glass.

my laptob screen doesnt work in only works on the keabords. everytime i tap the screen it doesnt do nothing.

Do not send your tablet to ASUS, I contacted them and one of their technicians informed me that it was going to cost about $184 to send the tablet to them, replace the screen and then send it back to me. If that is what you want to do, you will have to contact their customer support department. You can search the internet, and there you will find how to get in touch with them.
Another cheaper alternative is searching the net as "ASUS glass screen replacement", and there you will find places like Amazon, EBay and others that will sell you based on your model # the replacement screen. After you get your screen, then search how to replaced it yourself, you will see that you can save a lot of money.

Wow that was what I was going to do but I'm afraid this could damage my tablet so I'm not so sure how that could work?

or if your lucky and have the screen sporaddicly work and make it into the bluetooth settings, there is a great item made by favi that is a bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo, that works with my broken one, after getting it to work get an app called bluetooth autoconnect, and if the keyboard gets disconnected it will automaticly reconnect, the mouse will even unlock the tablet and wake it up from sleep mode.

I just called ASUS and they wants to charge $184 for replacing our tablet cracked glass.

Kevin Gorton, yes it does. It is possible that the cable for the LCD has dislodged, but ultimately is sound like you will have to replace both parts.

if you have the ability to hook up a mouse via usb my dell venu 11 pro got ran over everything still works except screen is cracked and has no response to touch but with a mouse plugged in I can still use it screen still has good picture just with a lot of cracks

I had the same problem. If you have a tablet with a keyboard attachment, carefully put it onto the keyboard. The mouse should still work, but the touchscreen won't.

Yes, as soon as touch is not responding you have to order a new digitizer along with a screen.

Or you could get hdmi cable and use your big screen tv and use a bluetooth or usb mouse and keyboard combo. All I did was velcro (lot of velcro, lol) it to the back of my tv which is hanging on my wall and it seems t to be working fine for me... and I mean lot of velcro due to the reason my screens messed up lol but I just use my living room tv for it and you get everything from youtube and netflix to gaming or whatever it is you like to do on your pc.

Hello, I have cracked my TF300T screen, so I get one from ebay and replaced, but after replacing it still does not feel any touch. I have done everything step by step by the instructions in ifixit, but it still works only with the keyboard. So any ideas where is the problem?
