I hope you understand this system series is quite old and uses the IBM PowerPC processor Vs Intel Core or i5/i7 processor. So your system will be very limited on what it can run from a software perspective.

I'm not sure if it's worth the effort and cost, or the risk (if your current system is working) to exchange out the logic board.

As you weren't to clear here, the A1095 system is the newer system are you putting it's logic board into the older A1046 system because your current logic board is having problems?

I wanna keep my powerbook as a historical object as it is the latest generation of apple with powerpc.

My logicboard a1046 is broken, i want to buy an used logicboard a1095 because the price is very low (40,00 $). but first disassembly the powerbook i want to be sure that exchange is possible without problem of compatibility

Can you get the supplier to take a good set of pictures of the board with a something to measure the scale with in the picture so you can try to envision it when comparing it with yours. Otherwise, maybe someone else can remember if they are interchangeable, sorry to say I just don't remember.
