Is there any difference betwen iPhone 3GS and 3g home button cable?

By 3gs home button cable has broken and i have iphone 3g home wich is broken but this part should be ok. I want to know if i can use this part from 3g and put it into 3gs :) Thanks

Yes. The Home Button assembly, button piece and flex cable are compatible between the iPhone 3G and 3GS. If given a choice, I prefer to use a 3GS flex cable in both iPhones, because 3GS flex cable has longer contact pins. But they are both compatible either way.
