How to repair or replace the sim tray?

A sim adapter stuck in the sim tray of my padfone 2. Something has been bent or broke as i had to force it to extrackt. I saw the guide to replace the screen from Mr. Jonatan Bengtsson. Which steps of it aplies to acces the sim tay connector? and which not? Are there are any video or link you can email me? Im an experienced Electronic Technician but not with cell phones so help me, please. Im loosing $700 on this new device. Thanks

Hi fito6955,

I would take a closer look at step 6 of the guide you mentioned. You might - after possibly loosening/removing some screws (?) - be able to slightly and carefully (!) lift or even remove the motherboard and check the Sim tray this way.

Hi! You need to go to step 6, strip the phone until you see the main board(with the camerachip) then u can see the simtray and mabby figure out whats wrong! Going in for another repair on mine in the near future, can make a guide for you!n

Hi Fito,

I followed Erica's Camera replacement guide Asus Padfone 2 Camera Replacement and after step 5 you are there.

The sim tray seems to be soldered in with 8 connector plus additional 6 spots to keep it in place. Maybe the pictures can help.
