MacBook not recongizing usb cable connected to CORTEx dmix 600

Hi. I recently purchased the dj system by cortex dmix 600. I've connected my ipod, usb chip and it works perfect. But when i connect my macbook using a usb to usb connect by gbridge it my macbook will not acknowledge the system at all. Please help!
