Fail to Switch on but keep making "beep" sound...

Beeping sound

Previously I drop my iPod nano 3rd gen onto the ground with some water on it, then the wheel and buttons are not working anymore( it is strange that the button works when i call a boot up....)

Anyway, then i tried to open my iPod up and check if everything is okay. Now it can't be switched on but just keep making two "beep" sounds about every 1 minute.

Is there anyway to bring it back to life?

Can anyone tell me what to do??

Sounds like you have a bad motherboard. I think the two beeps might mean either the disk is corrupt or bad firmware or something? You might be able to fix the problem by restoring it with iTunes, but if that doesn't work it's probably a bad motherboard.

Anybody else know about the two beeps? I know the sound and problem, but not sure exactly what causes it.

thanks for your help first but it seems impossible for me to restore it with itunes as the PC cannot detect the iPod anymore

is my iPod... certified..?
