Hi,
Have you checked in ''Windows Start button > Settings > Devices >Touchpad'' to see if the touchpad has been disabled, you didn't say?
What is the status of the touchpad in ''Device Manager > Human Interface Devices''?
-Right click on the Windows Start button and click on the Device Manager link. When in Device Managerscroll down to HIS and click on the > symbol to expand the list.

-If there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the touchpad entry then there is a driver problem. If you’re connected to the internet, right click on the touchpad entry and selct Update driver and follow the prompts.
