Usually TV's do not have a video out option, only audio out.
You may wish to check the connections on the back (side?) of the TV though, just in case.
Also HDMI connection in TV’s is normally for video input and not video output.
What is the source of the video signal?

If it is a “box” of some description you may be able to connect the projector to it to view the video signals.

If it is a “box” of some description you may be able to connect the projector to it to view the video signals, depending if it has video output options that can connect to the projector’s video input options.
If it is a direct antenna then it can’t be done if the TV doesn’t have video out options.
If the signal source for the movies you wish to watch is a dvd player then you should be able to connect the projector to it
