In the meantime, connect a USB mouse via an appropriate [https://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-3-1-Type-C-to-USB-Data-OTG-Cable-for-LG-G5-G5-SE-ZTE-Grand-X3-/272308361835|OTG cable] (On the Go) to allow you to navigate through the phone so that you can backup your personal data etc.
Unfortunately if you have a pattern lock this will not work to unlock the phone.
If you have a pin code lock, connect a USB keyboard (again via the OTG) to key in the number and then swap to the mouse. Be sure to change the lock type settings and screen time out settings to make it easier to get into the phone until you have everything. Be aware for some reason (and I don’t know why) not all keyboards will work this way.
Also be aware that the phone will be providing power to the USB device so the battery will discharge more quickly, so fully charge the battery before you start.
