I have the same issue with my iPad. I even replaced the Digitizer bezel and taped it down with the 3M adhesive tape. On the same side the iPad the adhesive has let go holding the bezel down and in another area the adhesive has let so of the digitizer. I'm thinking that it's a cheap tape because there is no glass shards. So I just purchased some new premium tape and I'll be fixing the iPad again with the new tape.
