Solid state drives are much faster than hard disk drives, but are much more expensive. The ZBook 15 comes with a small solid state storage unit called a cache. If you want your computer to run faster, you can move your operating system from the disk drive to the solid state cache. This will greatly decrease the amount of time it takes for your computer to boot from its powered-down or sleep states.
