This guide will help you through the steps to replace your LG G5 battery. The LG G5 is built to allow simple battery replacement, so you'll only need your hands for this process! Use this guide if your battery will not hold charge.

    • Power down the phone by holding the power button for several seconds.

    • While holding the battery release button, pull the bottom end of the phone out of the body.

    • Separate the battery from bottom half.

Absolutely great instructions. The battery I got for replacement comes uncharged (probably new shipping laws) so you might put in “Battery needs to be calibrated by fulling charging new battery to 100% then letting battery COMPLETELY run down to 0% before returning to normal use and charging.”
