Inserisci uno strumento di apertura in plastica sull'angolo inferiore destro del Kindle Fire.

Fai leva per dividere le due metà e fai scorrere lo strumento lungo tutto il perimetro del dispositivo, allentando le clip che tengono giunte le due parti.

È di aiuto rimuovere prima la parte inferiore del Kindle Fire (e fuori di lato) dalla parte superiore. Se si applica troppa forza durante la separazione delle due metà senza tirare, le alette interne potrebbero rompersi.

Una volta che avrai liberato tutte le clip in plastica, rimuovi il case posteriore del Kindle Fire.

Inserisci la punta dello strumento di apertura in plastica tra la cella destra della batteria ed il frame del Kindle Fire.

Used this guide to replace my battery. Sadly, it didn't fix the problem. The problem is with my charger connection. It is loose. I had hoped changing the battery and looking at the problem from the inside would resolve it. The charging connection is in it's own little housing. I considered opening the housing but I had no replacement parts to fix whatever may be wrong. I greatly appreciate the quality of this repair guide. There were no problems with tear down or putting back together. Thanks again!
Some kindles have a battery connection that "floats". The problem can be alleviated by soldering the charging port. There is an excellent video on YouTube that shows step by step, the process for soldering the charging port. Hope this helps!!!
Kindle Fire will not charge and when I wiggle the cord to charge the Kindle the light comes on but doesn't stay on. Tried a different cord still does not work. Where can I get another battery for the Kindle Fire. Please let me know or any Barnes and Noble bookstore or Staples, or Office Depot store where I can find a battery. Thanks Melony

I tried this to replace the battery but backed out because the pictures looked far different from my Kindle Fires inside and I was afraid of messing something it up. Still a really good guide.
