The SOMNOcomfort 2 (WM 24050, WM 24450, WM 24465, WM 24420) and SOMNOcomfort 2e (WM 24055, WM 24455) devices are CPAP-therapy units. The SOMNObalance (WM 27400, WM 27440, WM 27410, WM 27450) and SOMNObalance e (WM 27420, WM 27360) devices are auto CPAP devices for the treatment of sleep-related respiratory disorders. They are manufactured by Weinmann Emergency Medical Technology and were released in 2012.

These devices create continuous positive airway pressure to stabilize patient’s airways. This is accomplished with a fan that draws in ambient air through a filter. The air flows through a breathing tube and to the mask of the patient. Patients age 12 and up can utilize these devices.
