Device won't Power On
The tablet will not power on even after being charged.
Dead or Faulty Battery
Press the power button located on the top right side of the device, and hold it for several seconds. If the device does not power on, it's possible the battery is faulty and won't hold a charge. If you determine that the battery needs to be replaced, you can use this gude for doing so. Continue with the wiki below for troubleshooting tips and more potential causes.
Faulty or Broken Charger
Connect the device to a power source and wait for several minutes. Look for the charging indicator to appear in the center of the screen. If there is no indication the device is charging after several minutes, try charging the device using a different micro-USB cable and adapter. If there is still no indication the device is charging, the device may have a loose connection or bad battery.
Broken LCD or Bad LCD Connection
After leaving the device connected to a power source for several minutes, press and hold the power button to turn the device on. Wait several seconds then observe the button lights on either side of the menu button. Gently tap the button lights and see if they light up. Alternatively, you can press the audio up button several times while listening for a sound. If there are lights or sounds but the display is black, this would indicate a broken display.
Device is Charging Slowly
The tablet has started to charge slowly and is taking a long time to reach a full charge.
Incorrect Charger Output
If you're using an adapter other than the original one, verify its output is 5V / 2.0A. Check the output voltage (V) and current (A) printed on your adapter, and if it's less than 5V / 2.0A, try using a charger with the proper output.
Defective or Damaged Micro-USB Cable
Make sure your micro-USB cable continually charges the device and doesn't have any connection issues that might cause it to periodically stop charging. If you're suspicious your cable is faulty, try using a different one.
Battery Wear and Tear / Being Drained too Quickly
Draining the tablet's battery too quickly could potentially shorten its lifespan and cause slower charge times. Try conserving power when using the device by closing unused applications, lowering the screen's brightness, and/or turning on power saving mode.
Device won't Connect to Internet/Service
The table won't connect to the internet using Wi-Fi or LTE.
Mobile Data is Not Enabled
Navigate to the tablet's settings page and select 'Data Usage'. From the Data Usage page, make sure 'Mobile Data' is switched to ON.
Weak Signal Strength
Whether you're using Wi-Fi or LTE, check your signal strength located at the top of the device. If you have less than 2 or 3 bars, move to a location with better signal.
Outdated Device Software
Update your tablet's software. To do this, first navigate to the settings page. Select 'System Update' and then 'Update Profile'. Test your connection again after the update.
Software Issue
Occasionally, applications or software on the device can cause problems, including connectivity issues. If this is the case, resetting the device could potentially correct the issue by clearing the device's current state. To reset the device, hold the power button on the right side of the tablet. Select 'Power Off' from the menu that appears.
Not Connected to Wi-Fi
If there are connectivity issues using the device's cellular data (LTE), connecting to Wi-Fi can serve as a temporary solution. To do so, open the tablet's settings page and select 'Connections', then select 'Wi-Fi'. Switch the Wi-Fi button to ON and connect to an available network.
