Holy Stone HS720E Battery Draining Quickly

If one or both batteries do not meet the average 18-minute flight time when using your Holy Stone HS720E, follow this troubleshooting guide.

If the battery is charging, there could be an issue involving the charging hub or the charger’s connection.

• A way to tell if the Charging Hub is not working is to see if it lights up when plugged in. If the hub doesn’t light up, then you should look to replace it if you want your drone’s battery to charge.

• There’s a chance the charger is not fully connected to the drone, or it is not completely plugged into the outlet. Make sure there is a strong connection between the charger and the drone’s battery to confirm it will charge.

If the battery is charged but not locked into place, debris might be within the drone’s port or battery.

• Use an air canister, or anything similar, to clear the port and remove anything that could prevent the connection.

If the battery is plugged in and the drone is still not turning on, there could be a problem within the drone

• To view the internal wiring of the drone, you need to take the drone's shell off. Inside you will be able to observe any faulty wiring that could be present inside your drone.  Look for wires unplugged, frayed, burned, or tangled up.

Check for signs of damage to the battery itself. Damaged batteries could heavily affect the performance of the drone and are extremely dangerous to fly with.

• If the battery or even the drone itself happens to fall/crash, the battery should be examined, closely monitored, and disposed of properly if needed.

• If the drone/battery comes into contact with water, the battery should not be used, and the drone should be checked for further damage.

• If the drone is constantly in use, it will begin to wear down the batteries. This can be determined by a decline in the drone’s flight time.

To solve any of these problems, you would need to order a replacement battery.
