Mower fails to start
Cause
- The battery pack is depleted or not mounted in place in the battery compartment.
- The battery or motor circuitry is too hot, indicated by the power indicator turning orange.
- The side rails are not extended and the clamps are not locked into position.
- The handle is not set at one of the three operating positions.
- The mower deck is clogged with grass and debris.
Solution
- Charge the battery pack or press the battery into place until you hear a click.
- Allow the battery pack or mower to cool until the temperature drops below 152°F (67°C).
- Extend the handle are not extended and ensure that both of the clamps are locked.
- Adjust the handle to one of the three operating positions.
- Clean the mower deck and make certain that the blade can move freely.
Mower cuts unevenly
Cause
- Blade is dull
- Cutting height is not set properly
- Blade is assembled incorrectly
Solution
- Sharped or replace blade
- Move deck height to a higher setting
- Reassemble the blade
Mower stops while mowing
Cause
- Battery pack is depleted.
# Mower is in overload condition
- Mower deck is clogged with grass and debris
# Battery or mower circuitry is too hot. (The power indicator on the mower will illuminate orange for 10 seconds.)
- Side rail is retracted a little by the pushing force applying on the handle.
Solution
- Charge the battery pack.
- Raise the cutting height or slow down the mowing.
- Unclog the mower deck. Raise the cutting height, or cut a narrow swath.
- Allow the battery pack or mower to cool until the temperature drops below 152°F (67°C).
- Unlock the clamps. Fully extend the side rails and lock the clamps again.
Mower does not mulch properly
Cause
- Wet grass is sticking to the inside of the deck.
- The mower is set to cut too much grass at once
Solution
- Wait until the grass dries before mowing.
- Raise the deck to a higher cutting height setting.
Excessive vibration
Cause
The cutting blade is loose, unbalanced or bent. The motor shaft is bent.
Solution
If the cutting blade is loose, tighten the blade bolt. If it is unbalanced, rebalance the blade. If the blade is bent, replace the blade. If the motor shaft is bent, contact the service center.
Handle-locking clamps cannot be closed in position
Cause
The side rails are not fully extended.
Solution
Fully extend the side rails, then lock the clamps.
