My drill won’t charge. Light flickers but never goes steady. Drill turns a second or two & quits. How to know if it’s the lithium battery or charger? I’ve had it a few years but only used a handful of times. It is the LDX172C.

works when battery first installed , but will not restart after setting a minute.

I was working with it and it just stopped powering the motor even though the light comes on and looks bright. Nevertheless to be sure it was not discharged I put it on the charger until the light stopped blinking green. I did not drop it. If it is the switch malfunctioning how do I determine that?
